About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Research Analyst to take a proactive and strategic approach to our product design and development process. As a key player on our team, you will not only analyze the current needs of our users but also anticipate future requirements, ensuring our products continue to lead and push the local food industry forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Proactively talk to our farmers and growers using both email and phone calls to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations for our platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Support teams to gather additional customer feedback. Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to find user-focused solutions.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand current trends and the competitive landscape.
- Product Life-cycle Participation: Be actively involved across the entire product life-cycle – from pre-build research for new features, design validation, addressing questions during the development phase, to post-build assessment.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize various technical tools like Jira, Django, Metabase and Sheets for efficient data analysis, research, and collaboration. Define and effectively communicate app-related issues, including articulating problem statements, documenting them, and providing examples to ensure team understanding.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and measure the success of product launches and updates, tracking KPIs, analyzing user adoption rates, engagement metrics, and customer satisfaction levels.
- Knowledge Base Development: Assist in the development of user-friendly knowledge base articles to provide customers with self-service resources and support.
- Reporting: Prepare clear and concise reports that summarize findings, recommendations, and insights, and present these to stakeholders. Continually track and report on product performance and market changes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in a product research, management, or analyst role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to connect with our users.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Technical proficiency with tools such as Jira, FullStory (or equivalent product analytics tool), Sheets, and other relevant platforms.
- Highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to create processes for information collection and organization.
