Sales & Business Development
Canada
Provision is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to serve as the engine of our outbound growth. This role sits on the revenue team and reports to the CRO. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and qualifying high-potential leads to build a robust sales pipeline for our B2B food safety SaaS platform.
To thrive in this role, you must be a relentless hunter, a clear communicator, and a fast learner. Your goal is to get under the hood of a prospect’s current process, uncovering the specific manual pain points they face and showing them how Provision offers a more modern, automated path forward. Above all, you’ll be the catalyst that drives Provision’s expansion into new markets.

- Outbound Prospecting: Identify and research high-fit accounts within target segments to build a steady stream of new business opportunities.
- Lead Engagement: Execute high-volume outreach via phone, email, and social channels to secure discovery meetings for the Sales Director.
- Discovery & Qualification: Conduct initial conversations to understand prospect needs, pain points, and technical requirements, ensuring they meet our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Event Coordination & Execution: Support Provision’s presence at industry trade shows and conferences. This includes research, registration, and booth prep, as well as driving outbound campaigns to book meetings and host prospects at our events.
- Strategic Messaging: Craft compelling, personalized outreach that translates complex food safety features into clear business value.
- CRM Discipline: Maintain meticulous records of outreach activity and lead status in our CRM to ensure no opportunity falls through the cracks.
